Senior Jose Herrera is the sports editor for The Pearl Post and has been on staff for two years.  Jose enjoys various activities reading, writing, exercising, watching anime and eating.  During the spring semester Jose is part of the boys volleyball team at Birmingham Community Charter High School.  In the future Jose wishes to pursue in journalism or creative writing.
