How to Help: 5 Tips for Conserving Water

You hear about it all the time. On billboards, on the television and on the radio. The California drought. Here are a few tips that could easily fit into your day to conserve more water:

1. When taking showers try to decrease your shower time to five or 10 minutes.

2. Have one bottle for drinking water everyday. Using a reusable bottle can save water and money.

3. If you drop ice cubes, don’t throw them in the sink. Instead, feed them to your plant.

 4. Turn off the faucet while you’re brushing your teeth.

5. Wash your car on your lawn instead of commercial places so you’re watering the lawn at the same time.
