VIDEO: New Breakfast in the Classroom program comes to school
September 8, 2014
Students have been eating Greek yogurt, granola, raisins and milk on some mornings as the Breakfast in the Classroom program expanded to more district schools, including Daniel Pearl Magnet High School. Breakfast in the Classroom is exactly what it sounds like: Students get to have cafeteria provided meals every morning at the end of their first period class. The federally funded Breakfast in the Classroom time doesn’t cut into educational time and is free to all students, including teachers who have first period classes. You can view the school’s menu here.
