As weekend two of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival begins, attendees prepare for a weekend of fun-filled music festivities.
Since 1999, Coachella has been an annual event that hosts individual concerts of well known and established musicians. The festival is held for three consecutive days over two weekends during the month of April. It is held in the city of Indio, east of Palm Springs at the Empire Polo Club venue.
At the site of the event, multiple stages are set up where attendees can enjoy various lineups and performances. The festival includes food vendors to enjoy cuisine and games to play in between sets. Coachella is a chance for people to enjoy their favorite artists for a whole weekend while enjoying the desert heat.
This year’s week two lineup has Lana Del Rey headlining on Friday at 11:20 p.m. and Tyler, the Creator headlining Saturday at 11:40 p.m. Doja Cat will be headlining on Sunday at 10:25 p.m. at the Coachella stage. Most sets have remained the same with performers like Sabrina Carpenter, Peso Pluma, No Doubt and Jhené Aiko returning to perform. Meanwhile, other sets have been changed since some artists are unable to perform. Kid Cudi is now performing in the Sahara Tent instead of AP Dhillon from 5:10 to 5:50 p.m. For fans at home, the weekend two performances will be livestreamed on YouTube.
The group No Doubt will be performing their hit songs “Just a Girl,” “Don’t Speak” and “Hella Good” as part of their 16-song setlist. Lana Del Rey’s setlist is still a mystery since her weekend one 20-song setlist included her biggest hits, “Summertime Sadness” and “Brooklyn Baby” to name a few. Tyler, the Creator’s setlist is said to include songs from all his records but last weekend’s setlist had his album “Call Me If You Get Lost” comprising of most of the set. Doja Cat’s weekend one setlist included most tracks from her album “Scarlet,” which leaves the rest of her albums with tracks to sing for weekend two.
Fans are anticipating what guest appearances will happen at the festival since weekend one was filled with star-studded attendees. The list of special guests from last week included singers like Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift along with reality star Paris Hilton.
Here is the full Coachella schedule for weekend two.
