From the guitar to the drum, Daniel Pearl Magnet High School (DPMHS) students enjoyed Earth Day by having an extended lunch and intimate concert by Tangent Transmission on the grove in front of the school.
The band members began setting up equipment while underclassman finished the California Standardized Tests (CST) and seniors returned from breakfast at Millie’s restaurant as part of their senior week.
Tangent Transmission’s performance was full of life and energy that DPMHS students thrived on the excitement during the extended lunch.
“(The concert) rocked because you could see their emotion,” said senior Leah Marinos.
As Tangent Transmission’s success continues to grow, they’re looking forward to spreading their message with the anti bullying group Be More Heroic and throughout California about self-confidence and being true to yourself.
“The reason we came back to DPMHS is for you guys,” band member Cruz said.
