A mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic was on campus today to vaccinate students and community members. Four students received their first dose of the vaccine today and a second dose will be administered on Oct. 19.
The Los Angeles Unified School District is mandating that all faculty, staff and students be vaccinated against COVID-19. The Board of Education voted earlier this month to require the vaccine mandate for all students who are eligible for vaccination. Non-vaccinated students who do not get the vaccine by Jan. 10, 2022, will not be permitted on campus.
Since the new school year began, two students have tested positive for the coronavirus at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School.
