Princess Nokia: Afro-indigenous rapper Destiny Frasqueri of New York, better known as Princess Nokia, creates a wide range of music, ranging from feminist R&B to electronic alternative. Her most recent record “A Girl Cried Record” was heavily inspired by bands like Blink-182 and My Chemical Romance. She also hosts a podcast, “The Voices In My Head” that recollects her abusive childhood, love for her ethnic identity and feminist beliefs, streamed by Apple Music.
