Protests for recognition of the Armenian genocide

Freshman Vache Katabyan, sophomore Narek Ksachukyan and sophomore Gary Haji-Garabedian display the Aremenian flag today around campus in commemoration for tomorrow’s 103rd anniversary of the Armenian genocide where 1.5 million Armenians were killed by the Ottoman Empire. “On the 24th, we’re going to march to the Turkish Consulate as a sign of respect to our ancestors,” Ksachukyan said.
