Beloved Pokémon mascot Pikachu has returned to the gaming world in the new Nintendo 3DS game, “Detective Pikachu.”

New features include Pikachu’s characteristics. Pikachu no longer communicates with a high pitched squeal, but now speaks in a deep, insightful voice.

Tim Goodman plays the role of his partner in crime where they go on adventures and explore new quests.

The games starts off with the loss of Pikachu’s memory. He later comes across Goodman, who is the only one that understands him.

The two meet and work together, looking for clues to solve the mystery of Goodman’s lost father and the rampaging Pokémon.

Added dimensions and wide selections of color differ from previous games, giving gamers a change in scenery.

It’s a whole new place where players get the chance to solve puzzles and chase after tedious suspects.
