Swing by a local pet shelter, like Pet Orphans of Southern California, and interact with a variety of pets this winter. Take the dogs out for a walk, or play around with the cats using toys.

Visit your local library, such as the Los Angeles Public Library, this holiday season. Help sort books and clean up the library.

YMCA

Join your local YMCA and become a volunteer. Assist both youth and adult members around the facility.

Canned Food Drive

Participate in a food drive. Go to a local supermarket, such as Ralph’s, and give back to your community by asking for donations and sorting them.

Toy Drive

Give back this holiday season by volunteering at a toy drive. Contact a local store, like the Dollar Tree, and help gather toys to give to those in need.
