Video: Dress Code Survey
May 19, 2016
Both students and faculty, for a long time, have been mostly divided on the school’s current dress code policy. Many students feel that the dress code is “too strict” and “unfair.” While some of the adults agree that it’s more about the appropriateness of the clothing rather than style. In wake of all this heated tension Leadership students created a survey for the student body to partake in. New Media Editor Anne Lima and Social Media Editor Marcelina Vergara investigate further into just how strongly both sides feel about it.

I find it interesting that Ms. Smith only addressed parent and staff (teachers?) responses and results. It seems as though one explanation would be time, but considering student complaints were the basis of the disagreement, then did she just not have access to the results or did she choose not to share them for some special reason? I’m confused. A very well done video nonetheless. I look forward to an update if any policies are decided on to remain or change.
