The week of Dec. 7-13 is Computer Science Education Week. On Dec. 9, select freshmen were able to take part in this event by participating in a lesson of coding. In this picture freshmen Xena Mclean and Jared Medrano share their work with each other. The purpose of this initiative is to expose students to technology so they will be more prepared for college. Math and computer science teacher Leslie Hicks invites classes to participate in this event every year.
