Apple has unveiled the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus at the Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco on Sept. 9, along with the new iPad Pro, Apple TV, and WatchOS 2.
The new iPhone features a Retina HD display made from the strongest glass used on any iPhone. An “A9” processor which will double its speed, along with the 3D Touch sensor and 7000 Series aluminum. A rose gold color has been added in the collection of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. The exterior remains the same, the interior has been redefined.
“I think the iPhone 6s has a better structure than the other models,” sophomore Ryan Sokolov said.
The 3D Touch is a sensor that works based on the amount of pressure used on the display screen. It is a shortcut to apps; its gestures include Tap, Swipe, and Pinch. The camera can capture 1.5 second videos making photographs come to live. It can record up to 4K videos and 12-megapixel photographs.
“The iPhone 6s is basically the same as the 6, so I don’t think I would want to buy it,” senior Tina Mehriary said.
The new iPad Pro comes with an upgraded process power and 12.9-inch thin tablet with a bigger screen which will be on sale in November.
The Apple Pencil for the iPad is a new accessory and is highly sensitive. Its subsystem scans its signal at 240 times per second which is able to tell the different between Apple Pencil from a finger. Apple also presented the smart keyboard which is an easy separate attachment for the iPad Pro.
“The new technology is amazing,” senior Jason Valladarez said.
The Apple TV box includes a new operating system known as tvOS. TvOS will allow the creation of new apps. Siri has been implemented and a new touch sensitive remote. It is set to go on sale by the end of October.
The Apple watch0S 2 is quick and fast, upgraded with a custom straps as well as a new watch face and third party complications. Music can be controlled with the use of the owner’s voice. There are up to 10,000 apps and makes transit easier
than ever. It includes Air Strip that has been made to securely authentic heartbeat levels.
